Did you know how many MAJOR POLITICAL PARTIES here in UK?..........3 my friends: (1.) THE LABOR PARTY ( GORDON BROWN) which had 355 seats in the house of commons; (2.) THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY (DAVID CAMERON)which had 197 seats in the house of commons. (3.) LIBERAL DEMOCRATS (NICK CLEGG) with 63 seats in the house of commons. And how many MAJOR POLITICAL PARTY in US .....TWO:(1.) Democratic Party (Barack Obama); (2.) Republican Party (John McCain). And now, Do you know how many MAJOR POLITICAL PARTY IN THE COUNTRY? ....Fourteen my friend: (1.) Lakas-Kabalikat ng Malayang Pilipino Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-Kampi CMD) of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo; (2.) National-People Coalition (NPC) of Eduardo Cojuangco Jr.; (3.) Liberal PArty (LP) of Manuel Roxas II; (4.) Nationalista Party (NP) of Manny Villar; (5.) Bagong Alyansang Pilipino (BAYAN) of Satur Ocampo;(6.) Partidong Demokratikong Pilipino Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-LABAN) of Aquilino Pimentel Jr.; (7.) Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino (PMP) of Joseph Estrada; (8.) United Opposition (UNO) of Jejomar Binay; (9.) Laban ng Demokratikong Pilipino (LDP) of Edgardo Angara; (10.) Liberal Party (breakaway) (LP-ATIENZA) of Lito Atienza; (11.) So, what is the connection between those political parties of two great countries that i mentioned. By comparing OUR political system to THEIR political system. I can conclude that the politicians of those great countries had a controlled use of democracy and had a regulated freedom of self confidence. As a result they LIVE A BETTER LIFE, FAR BETTER than ours, that even our gardener (of the company where i worked with) can afford to go to Las Vegas for one week time just to watch Ricky Hatton. Is Juan can enjoy such a privilege?... "NO". An ordinary Filipino only can go to Las Vegas to WORK and SERVE not for pleasure. Only those GAMBLER POLITICIANS and their BELOVED CRONIES can afford such privileges.... WHAT ASHAME....
So why we had too much major political parties? Do we had too many brilliant politicians that we can't afford to have only two or three major political parties? Do we really need to have fourteen? Or it is just the outcome of the ambitious and greedy politicians hunger for power? Or it is the outcome of abusive use of democracy? Just like when your putting too much sugar in your coffee, it didn't taste good. It will spoils the taste of the drink thus you are not satisfied and enjoyed drinking with it. In my humble understanding of the situation, computerization is not the first step for cleaner, fairer and honest election. For me it is only an instrument for a bigger overhaul of our political system.. The FIRST thing to do is to adopt a TWO PARTY SYSTEM instead of multi party. Let those ambitious politician choose among themselves whose the lesser evil before presenting it to the greater public without any collateral expenses from our bankrupted treasury. Then computerization follows that can
